Paracetamol

Paracetamol injection contains the active substance paracetamol, an analgesic (it relieves pain), and an antipyretic (it lowers fever). It is used as first-line therapy for the treatment of fever and pain. It prevents the formation of chemical messengers called prostaglandins, which cause pain and swelling at the injury sites. It provides fast and effective relief from moderate to severe pain associated with/without fever. It is usually given in cases where oral administration is unsuitable
